Now, another way to back up and restore your bookmarks that works better is to goto the URL opera://about and take note of the "profile" path. Then, after you import your bookmarks, you can just right-click on that speed dial folder and choose "open all in tabs" to open all your pages back up. Then, when you export your bookmarks (via the drop-down on at the URL opera://bookmarks, it'll export your speed dials and that folder too as speed dials are just bookmarks in the "speed dial" folder. For your opened tabs, you can right-click on one of the tabs in the tab bar or the tab bar itself and choose "save all tabs as a speed dial folder".
